My mom uniform

Cliché as it may be, I have definitely developed a go-to "mom uniform" during the winter months. Part athleisure, part "oh hey, this is clean enough," I am always pairing a long sleeve athletic shirt with stretchy pants. When I'm chilly, I add my trusty zip up fleece jacket and VOILA! Bring on the parenting/cleaning/cooking/exercising!

A few weeks ago I bought a pair of cheapie black jogger pants on Amazon on a whim, and to my surprise they've become my absolute favorite pants. I like them so much I bought them in a second color- the gray.

They're not maternity pants, so I just fold the waistband below my belly. Otherwise they'd fit right below the belly button. I'm digging them because they're a slim cut but are made out of the super soft, super stretchy fabric. They have pockets. To me what makes them total winners is the fact that no matter how active I am during the day, these babies do NOT stretch out in the butt. Pants that give you baggy-saggy butt are the woooooorst.

Sometimes Amazon products (ahem, made-in-China clothes) can run really small, but these run true to size. I am 5'6" and the small size is perfectly fitted but not skintight and hits right at the ankle. It's hit or miss with the colors being available in all the sizes, but if you're in the market for some inexpensive but comfy and flattering pants, check these out!
